Bangladesh Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound Society

Shristy institute has been training doctors in the fields of ultrasound since the year 2000. However, we feel that anything learnt is soon forgotten unless rejuvenated at frequent intervals. In order to fulfill this need of replenishing and sharing of our knowledge, we have established an ultrasound club named Bangladesh Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound Society, in 2004.

This ultrasound club or society will be a breeding ground for knowledge-hungry medical professionals with profound interest in diagnostic ultrasound technology. Once in a month, we arrange meetings, seminars, lectures and discussions on ultrasound as well as clinical topics, latest development in ultrasound technology, equipment, etc at the club. Members can bring their difficult and/or academically interesting cases/patients for free scanning and discussion during the seminars.

The society will not only pursue academics but also promote social interaction among the doctors. We believe that it will definitely be refreshing for the doctors' physical and mental health.

We invite you all whoever has interest in ultrasound technology to join the club as members so that we all can share our knowledge and expertise. For membership and other details, all prospective applicants (doctors, biomedical equipment engineers, vendors whoever has interest in ultrasound) are free to contact us personally or on phone during working hours.
